I’m Andrew Lowe, a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 10 years of experience in the fields of accounting and finance. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from individuals to large corporations, helping them navigate the complexities of the Canadian tax system. My expertise lies in personal, corporate, and trust taxation, as well as non-resident and cross-border transactions. I am passionate about holistic tax planning, and I believe that a well-rounded approach to tax strategy can make a significant difference in achieving financial goals.
What sets me apart in the industry is my commitment to continuous learning and professional development. I am proud to be part of the 6% of CPAs who have advanced their tax knowledge beyond the standard CPA requirements by achieving the In-Depth Tax Certification through a 3 year program with CPA Canada. This rigorous course of study has equipped me with the skills to tackle the most nuanced and complex tax issues and interpret new tax legislation as it arises, enabling me to provide clients with strategic advice tailored to their unique situations.
My approach to accounting is deeply client-centric. I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with my clients, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that are both practical and innovative. I’m Philip Lowe, a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 40 years of experience in the field of accounting. My journey began at Thorne Riddell, one of the firms that would later become part of KPMG, where I gained invaluable experience in the early stages of my career. Afterward, I transitioned to the Canada Revenue Agency, where I deepened my understanding of taxation and regulatory frameworks. However, in 1983, I felt a strong calling to establish an independent practice, driven by the desire to offer clients personalized and optimized accounting advice. This resulted in the founding of Philip G. Lowe Inc., which has since transitioned into the firm now known as Lowe CPA Inc.
Over the decades, I’ve had the privilege of building long-lasting relationships with my clients, many of whom I’ve advised through multiple generations. My approach to accounting is rooted in understanding the unique needs of each client and providing them with the guidance they need to navigate their financial journeys.
Beyond my professional life, I am deeply committed to Christian ministry work. I serve as a Director at Hope2Offer Ministries, where I am actively involved in community outreach initiatives. This work is a vital part of who I am, allowing me to give back to the community and support those in need. Whether in the boardroom or the community, I am dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those I serve.
